Its always important to treat yourself with love, respect, and compassion. If not you then who is going to give you those things. As people we can be so hard on ourselves and just being more compassionate with yourself can go along way. If you make a mistake and you feel bad about it, give yourself a little love and patience. What you give to yourself others will give to you as well. We do as people teach others how to treat us. How we treat ourselves is an indicator to others how to treat you. In all instances this may not be true but its most important to give the love to yourself and not expect to get what you owe to yourself from others.
I have had many instances in my life where I needed to practice giving myself, love, respect, and, compassion. On my journey I have learned to give to myself these three things. I’ve had to take time to heal my wounds from different traumas I have experienced. Its not a set time as to how long it will take to heal the emotional wounds. Take the time to heal the things that have hurt you in your life because its the only way you will be able to move forward advance to the next level of life you need to advance to.
Its important to take time and make the time to heal yourself. Emotional wounds take more time to heal than physical wounds. They stay with us a lot longer than a physical wound. It may not be a clear cut way to heal them but you need to sit with the feelings and let them pass through you in order to get over them.
